Created for the August 2024 Lollapalooza music festival, this poster places an emphasis on the use of typography to communicate key dates and main performances.

The first stage of building this poster consists of creating typeless typographic calendars that focus on form and communication using only circles, triangles, and squares in the Zapf Dingbats typeface with Adobe InDesign. Different font sizes were slowly incorporated, going from 48pt to including 24pt and eventually also 72pt. The next stage consisted of choosing an artist and a song from the lineup to create expressive typography using the name of the festival "Lollapalooza" in Adobe Illustrator. Then, I put together a black and white version of the poster in Adobe InDesign by incorporating the calendar, expressive typography, and the rest of the copy. Finally, I added an Adobe Photoshop edited version of the singer image and created a color version of the poster.
