Created for the August 2024 Lollapalooza music festival, this poster places an emphasis on the use of typography to communicate key dates and main performances. The poster combines a typeless calendar composed of shapes and a typographically expressed festival name that draws inspiration from lineup artist Yoasobi’s song “Into the Night.” Although the song is upbeat and energetic, the lyrics speaks of death, hence the text of the festival name beginning to fall apart while also trying to hold everything together.
