UIC: Circular Forms
Softwares: Adobe Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop
Camera: iPhone15 Plus

Created with images shot on an iPhone 15 Plus, edited in Adobe Bridge, and collaged in Adobe Photoshop, the digital collage aims to bring new life to mundane repetitious circular forms in day-to-day life and seemingly insignificant measuring spoons.

A majority of the repeating elements were found in existing forms such as sewer grates, on vases, the veins of leaves, and in a cup. Others, like the rug and water droplets, were manually constructed for this project.

To continue with the circular theme, I chose measuring spoons because they are a commonly used tool that is often overlooked when the average person is trying to think up of an interesting object. I wanted to display new perspectives of the object to show off the individual character and form of the spoons through the directing  of shots in a photography studio versus in its natural environment, the kitchen.
process 1 - circular
process 3 - object in environment
