iOS Books App Redesign

Based on the Apple iOS Books app, this redesigned version combines functions to streamline the user experience and incorporates new features such as a playlist option, social page, and subscription plans. Users and book authors will be able to curate and listen to song or sound effects playlists that complement books. Within the social page, users will be able to read book reviews from other users, post their own reviews, and comment on review threads. Tiered subscription plans allow users to choose a plan that suits their book reading needs.

App Subscription Page - I added a subscription feature as a new business model.

Process

Identifying Weakpoints - I identified points that I felt could be improved, changed, or streamlined.
Developing Idea and Surveying User Needs - I made a quick instagram survey to identify if there was a space for adding playlists in the market.
User Testing the Redesigned App - After building an interactive prototype with Figma, I tested the app with 5 users.
Final Screens - Here are the final screens that I added or changed.
